When Seagulls Saved The World
When working with Will Kinchin, we were approached by a puppet theatre company who wanted us to design the promotional material for their upcoming show 'When Seagulls Saved The World'. The brief was for the marketing to not appear too child like as although it was a show for 5+, they wanted to appeal to children and adults. The problem was that a puppet show for children about seagulls in essence feels childlike, so we had to use the design in the marketing to balance the appeal to both age groups. We ultimately helped deliver a design which appeared fun and youthful, whilst not excluding children or adults and the client was very happy with the result.

The visual style was a crafty cut-out/collage effect which appeals to both adults and children. The colour palette was both mellow with vivid pops of colour with the yellow. The storyline of the puppet show is perfectly shown through the visuals with the seagulls all collecting various beach debris.
